A Good Weekend for Young Guns: Ryo Ishikawa & Matteo Manassero Win

Several years ago, you may remember, Ryo Ishikawa became the youngest male ever to win a professional event.  

It was May of 2007 at the Japan Golf Tour's Munsingwear Open.  Only 15 at the time, it was immediately clear that Ishikawa was destined for greatness... and the trajectory his career took during the two years that followed seemed proof of that beyond imagination.  

In 2008 there was another Japan Tour victory and the player known as the Bashful Prince became the youngest ever to reach the top 100 in the World Golf Rankings. 2009 saw him win four times on the Japan Tour and become the youngest to break the top 50 and 2010 was notable for the Ishikawa's historic 58, at the Crowns. He closed the year with a win at the 2010 Mitsui Sumitomo VISA.
