This is exactly what I've been saying. And it's absolutely, undeniably, disgustingly true:
The only thing exceptional about today's Republicans is that—almost without exception—they oppose everything that has made America exceptional in the first place.
It's an easy question: how long can a country stay "exceptional" when it refuses to pay for education, research, infrastructure, nurturing its kids? If enacted, that's
exactly what the Ryan/Romney budgets would do. How is it that teabaggers can't see it for what it is? Or, if they do, how selfish can they be not to care?
